Flowers at North Point Park – Giant dandelion (??) cluster: It’s funny, I’d never noticed one of these plants before, but then I saw some this weekend, and now I saw more today. It doesn’t really look like a dandelion, but it looks more like a dandelion than anything else, with the wispy white flower buds and all. But dandelions are much shorter than this, and with a texture more like grass, whereas this plant is all vine-y & woody looking. Not to mention the huge green pineapple-y seed pod. Maybe I’m just paying more attention these days now that I’m taking more pictures than I used to… Now that I think about it, I wonder if it might be cotton. I didn’t think that grew this far north, but what do I know?
