$6,500 in donations stolen | Rogers Brothers | Greater Boston Food Bank |

BOSTON (FOX25, myfoxboston) – Just days before Thanksgiving, $6,500 raised by the Rogers Brothers for the needy this holiday season was stolen.

The annual party was held Monday night at the Via Matta Restaurant in Boston.

At 10:30 p.m., it was discovered that the lockbox with the money inside was gone. The incident has been reported to police.

The Rogers Brothers have been supporting the Greater Boston Food Bank in its effort to fight hunger for more than seven years.
